Yeah, it always makes me sad too. Usually not quite to the point of 'ruining' the show, but it's definitely makes it a bit less enjoyable.

It made me sad to find out Jeri Ryan and Kate Mulgrew hated each other because the relationship between Seven and Janeway was one of my favourite things about the show.

Not even to mention Robert Beltran who hated everyone.

And boy did that show. Garrett "Must have had a hellish high school life" Wang was pretty burned by it all too.

The Mulgrew/Ryan thing actually worked out though. The Janeway/Seven relationship onscreen was full of tension and that was fueled by the offscreen tension which made their performances sparkle. The Wang and Beltran experience was just boredom and general apathy rather than outright dislike so that showed in their bland and wooden performances.
