(Anonymous) 2013-06-10 04:04 am (UTC)(link)No. It was a clutch. She presses it when she shifts gears and takes her foot off the gas at the same time. Also it never once shows her glitching as a direct result of pushing the clutch, which you think the filmmakers would show if this was true. She glitches randomly in and out of the car. I... really have no idea where you got this theory. Most racing games I've ever seen had a special boost or whatever activated by a button, not a pedal.
But yeah, all the characters probably have a special ability, we saw Candlehead's too. Or they have a level tailor made for them that we never saw because it was unnecessary.
