I'd be curious to hear what you didn't like about it. Parts of it I loved, and parts of it I didnt, although, as with most action movies, there were too many action scenes for me. I watch for the character building. And this one had it in abundance.

Dude, are you me? I was just telling one of my friends that my ideal superhero movie would be one with no action scenes. Then they look at me like an alien just sprouted fully formed from my skull and tried to tell them about Scientology. The best parts of a superhero movie are the parts where they are being sad and quiet and feeeeeling things.

I just want them to talk about their problems and hug it out.

Yessssss. That is why it's my fav. The character building was amazing and I pretty much died at all the great 80s action movie throwbacks (completely with kid side-kick!). I think IM3 is my favorite movie of the summer so far.

I personally loved IM3 but everyone has different opinions, I know a few people who love Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor but can't stand Avengers.

Whatever. I loved it and can't wait to get the DVD so we can have even longer Tony Stark marathons in my house. The extra time will be appreciated since it takes almost all of IM2 to make popcorn if you're smart about it. I love that we'll now have three of four movies to enjoy instead of two of three ;)

I enjoyed this movie and adored the character development, the darker tone and Tony's humor, but the whole thing felt a bit too long to me. IMO it was a good movie with some pacing issues and I can't see myself watching it over and over again like the first Iron Man.

And...uh, you're allowed your opinion, but I have to disagree about Fantastic Four. Strongly.

I have no idea what one could like about this movie. It's basically an RDJ show-off, no Tony Stark there at all.
No, RDJ is NOT Tony Stark. Ugh.

I love Marvel. I loved Iron Man. I loved The Avengers. But this is the worst Marvel movie I've ever seen. Seriously, I'd rather watch Fantastic Four 2 again. (It's that bad.)

Please don't sign on for Iron Man 4, Robert Downey Jr. You're better than this.

I didn't particularly like this movie either but you went a little overboard with the hyperbole there LOL

At least rest assured that there's not going to be an IM4 unless something radical changes (like money changes hands or whatever). But luckily RDJ did sign for Avengers 2 and 3 :)

I love how everyone conveniently ignores how certain things were magically 'fixed' in IM3 like Tony's alcoholism or how suddenly he was able to get surgery in order to remove the shrapnel, which seemingly wasn't an option before.

The movie sucked and had a bunch of plot holes, but fans have too much of a boner over Tony Stark to realize it.
