Trying too hard.

Excessive makeup, excessive cologne, hair that doesn't move because of the amount of product that's in it, reeking of perfume/fragranced products, flaunting whatever the person thinks makes them attractive, "style" that includes the same 4 looks ad nauseum that were put together by the same 2 magazines, being overly flirty, putting on acts...

the way some people have of dressing that makes me think they tried on everything in their closet before carefully selecting something that makes them look "casual" and "spontaneous"...

To me they all reek of desperation, and desperation is ugly.
