I am slightly in love with The Bletchley Circle rn (yay! it got picked up! yay!), but unfortunately the show's Tumblr fandom gives me the creeping horrors. :-(

It depends on what you want from it. There is usually very little fighting, but it is a lot harder to find 'gen' or 'meta' stuff.

Most definitely yes. I wanted more canon material, utilizing some of the backstory to the show (Bletchley Park/Codebreakers from WWII), and a further examination of the various attitudes and mores of the day (1950s), and possibly discussions of same.

The Tumblr fandom for the show has, apparently, decided this is ... NOT what they want. At all. Even remotely. D-:

Good meta is hard to find. :( Have you thought about looking into some novels and such about the topic? I expect there are some good ones. :)
