The women I've met who have had one all had similar reasons as you--hated their breasts, hated the attention, hated their proportions, etc--and they never regretted it. People (who usually don't have big boobs) act like breast reduction is a huge loss to society but it really isn't, and it's a simple surgery. Since it's a surgery that mostly involves removing fat and then a little nip and tuck, it doesn't have a huge recovery time and it's not very dangerous.

Common complaint is a lack of sensation in that area, though, so expect that. Also, I think there are breast feeding problems, if that's a concern of yours or may be in the future.
