First off, HE WAS INNOCENT. He wasn't doing anything wrong when he was walking home and wasn't doing the things that Zimmerman was accusing him of doing. At the time he really was an innocent person getting skittles.
The fact that he'd done some shit before doesn't change that. Even people with a history of crime and wrongdoing can be an innocent victim in a crime. Innocent does not mean 'a perfect cherub who has done nothing wrong ever' but 'did nothing to provoke/deserve a crime commited against them'. Otherwise it'd be open season on anyone with a criminal record.
And 'part of his lifestyle', are you fucking serious. Apparently having pot gives you the mindset of a hardened criminal (which again means you're not innocent and it's cool to shoot you).
