Okay, I guess that makes sense. That said, I still don't think 50 Shades is really that bad, or at least that it's not bad fan fiction since it improves upon the source material in that aspect by actually recognizing the unhealthiness the relationship sometimes has.

Plus, most of the places I've seen it have definitely seemed to be calling it bad in the first way you defined.
