OP, I'm so so sorry you had to put up with that. It's inexcusable for anyone, brony or not, to treat another fan of something they like like that.

But I'd have to agree with you on the "Boy's Club." I too am a female fan of the show, but I don't make this known to anyone aside from other female fans and my own family. The treatment I've seen male fans give to female ones is, for lack of a better word, disgusting. Someone will probably step up and disagree with me, and they've probably had different experiences than me, but the majority of the male/female interaction in this fandom I've seen is negative (just look at a lot of the fandom drama).

Yeah, I've had pretty positive interactions with the male fans I have met, but most of those have been my friends, and most of those friends are people I helped get into the show, haha.

But I've heard a lot of horror stories, so your experience doesn't surprise me at all, sadly.
