I'm a female fan of MLP too and unfortunately I do feel kind of left out. I'm not a part of the fandom, but the real life guys I know who are into it are all high fives and references while only a few of them will discuss the show with me. it sucks.

I've never met any pony fans where I live other than my boyfriend, but I have been through that kind of thing with small-minded comic-book geeks in the past.
