Yeah. The worst part really is him saying that he's not making it for the fans, which is not only an outright lie when the last movie was half shout-out material to another movie but also misses one of the best parts, in my opinion, of Star Trek. Yes, by all means broaden the appeal to more people because that's a good thing, but don't do that at the expense of the material itself, you know?
