the only annoying thing

is shippers calling that part a "vulcan kiss".If you have a bit of knowledge of trek related stuff, it so obviously isn't.

The K/S hand scene is the beautiful Vulcan gesture of farewell done between brothers. Spock did that with his brother Sybok in the final frontier and it saddens me beyond measure that no one gets the real meaning.

We "get" the ~real meaning, oh special snowflake, but there is enough wiggle room because a "Vulcan farewell between brothers" and a "Vulcan kiss" that we can interpret what Kirk and Spock did as a Vulcan Kiss without you getting butthurt that omg fangirls are getting porn in my pure masculine very manly brothers!!1! relationship. Ugh, fanboys.
