I may not give two shits about MCU or Loki, but him going the extra mile to be that cool is awesome.

I like him, I like the character, and I thought his act was awesome, but I got serious second-hand embarrassment from the sound of all those fangirls. Even if I logically realize that that kind of reaction was what he was working the crowd for, I mean, how else were people supposed to respond? But it makes me embarrassed to be a fan, regardless. T_T I am frustrated I feel this way.

I've kind of hated him and the movies on principle, just because they took people away from my fandom. But I did watch this vid from ComicCon and I can definitely see why people are gaga over him (the actor and the character). Just stunning! I might have to change my mind and watch, damn it!

I screamed, I kicked my feet, I went limp in my seat, I nearly had to change my damp undies...and I was only watching the VIDEO AT HOME.

Perspective: I'm a huge Avengers fan but not a "I want your babies" Loki fan. Well. I wasn't before this, anyway. But it's not hard to understand why this got everyone. He was breaking the fourth wall and deliberately, directly seducing the fans while in character. And, whoo, Hiddleston proved damn good at that.

heee, no shame. I like Loki/Hiddkleston fine but the hardcore fans kinda bug me, so I tend to stay away from that side of the fandom. But when I watched the video, I...don't even wanna describe the high-pitched giggleshriek noise I made right after "where are your Avengers now?"
