I don't remember the artist name, but I remember when I was reading Ultimate x-Men ages ago, there was ONE artists that had this really awesome cartoony style. I think Polaris was involved, the school was, and Storm was being chased by someone from her past?

That sound familiar to anyone? It was also right in the middle where, the previous arc and then the next arc, had Logan with his short hair, but this one, he had his long hair back.

I was disappointed that I never saw that style again during it's run. :C

but, OP, I do get you. there's some artists that get used a lot and they're so boring. No variation.

Edit: Also, before the reboot happened, I remember Catwoman having this AWESOME almost Bruce Timm like art style for a time. THAT was great.

Regarding Catwoman, are you talking about Ed Brubaker's run? Because yeah, that was awesome. I'm pretty sure the artist was Darwyn Cooke, who also did the art for DC: The New Frontier and the 2007 reboot of The Spirit.

(BTW, OP, if you are reading this I totally recommend all the comics mentioned in this comment. Also seconding the recs for Hawkeye and Batwoman.)

Also some Cameron Stewart, in his more "cartoony" style (which I love and I wish editors would let him do more), did some of the Brubaker Catwoman. His style didn't jar too much with Cooke's, so the book felt the same.

I think that might be Stuart Immonen's ultimate x-men.
I love the guy, he's amazing, I love how he shift and tries different art styles. OP doesn't have any clue on what they are missing.
