Looking at that comic is honestly making my stomach turn from so much second-hand embarrassment.

[Picture is a screen-capture from a comic in a tumblr post, featuring a ghostly person glowing gold approaching the newborn Prince George in his crib and saying "What a silly name... George. Anyone with eyes could see... you're... Arthur", and then the baby grabs fingers from the ghost's hand. So it's, ah, Merlin's ghost from the TV show "Merlin" or maybe the old legend, visiting the new British royal baby in real life, who is the reincarnation of his friend, King Arthur, or something???)

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only person in the Merlin fandom who finds the 'Prince George as Arthur' trend creepy, and that maybe I'm the one at fault. [displeased face emoticon]

The other comments have said it already, but no, you're not the only one in the fandom who is bothered by it. I adore the Merlin fandom for the most part, but ugh... I must've had to scroll past that comic on my dash a dozen times!
