Yeah, it's pretty neat that people have different tastes in what's attractive. Strange, I know!

(I don't think he's attractive either, but I also think that "I don't get why ___ is considered hot" should be N!S)

It's funny though...Daryl looks more like nowadays-Sean Bean if he were to be de-aged, as opposed to Sean Bean in his younger years. If that makes any sense?

Different strokes.

I find him really unattractive too. But different looks appeal to different people and all that. No doubt people think the same thing about some people I find hot.

Same here. I love Daryl for his characterization; sexually, I don't think much of him one way or the other. He's not really my type.

I don't personally find him hot but I do find him attractive. I think Glenn is the best looking one though, which is weird because I really didn't find him that attractive during the first season but I caught a random episode of the third season a while ago and I was like "Holy shit, did he get ten times more attractive?".

I don't share the Daryl love that so many people seem to have but Norman Reedus is a beautiful human being inside and out. Just the way he's always treated his fans since the early days of Boondock Saints makes me love him forever.

+1 to this, though I do love Daryl quite a bit. It's impossible not to love Norman if you've ever had the pleasure of talking to him. Interviews and videos don't do him justice at all, nor do photos. Lovely human being all around.

I'm one of those people who strangely find him attractive

imo it's the rugged looks (even if they aren't model-handsome) and Daryl as an actual character.

I dunno, something about Norman Reedus's face has always made me ridiculously happy. Though not happy enough to watch a zombie show.

I don't think he is conventionally hot, but there's something about him that makes him damned attractive to me. I am not sure exactly what it is.

You like what you like, dude. I'd climb Rumpelstiltskin from Once Upon a Time, (both as Rumpelstiltskin or as Mr. Gold, as I love the actor that plays him) but I recognize that this is not what everyone else thinks.

I do have a soft spot for Daryl, where I kind of want to mother him and cut his hair and hug him and stuff. If that stuff led to dirty, dirty sex after which we killed some zombies...well, I'd take it.

If you don't like him, that's cool, too.

I don't think he's OMGHOT (although he's getting there with the Season 4 pictures I've seen) but I don't think he's ugly either. *shrugs* Like others have said, different strokes for different folks. Benedict Cumberbatch looks like a lizard to me, but he's got an insane following so...

It comes down to a matter of taste. I've ALWAYS found Norman Reedus attractive and found him extremely talented, even back before Boondock Saints was a thing. Personality and confidence goes a long way as well. I guess what I'm trying to say is, my cup of tea may not be yours and that's OK.

To each their own, I suppose. He looks relatively normal to me, but I'm guessing that for many viewers his hotness factor is primarily influenced by his personality and deeds. I know that my parents think he's the coolest character on the show after Michonne. Hell, mom wanted (and received) a "Team Daryl" shirt for her birthday last week, and when she showed it to dad he smiled and nodded understandingly.

This is neither here nor there, but sometimes I wish I wasn't so freaked out by zombies and gore so that I could watch TWD with them and fully understand what it is about that show that brings out their inner fangirl and fanboy respectively. But since that ain't happenin', I'll just be content with watching them squee over it like the senior citizen geeks that they are and be proud that nerdiness runs in my family.

Here's my secret: I think he was hotter in Season 1.

It's not only looks that make people hot. It's also comes down to acting ability & attitude. Darryl kicks a lot of ass and gives no fraks about it therefore he's hot.

I don't watch the show but I do see why he's attractive. He has bedroom eyes, he's in shape but isn't too muscular (says a person who loves bodybuilders), and he has serious man-swagger. And everyone likes a blue-collar bad-ass. They're what make America great!
