the tumblr secret made me wonder (since an anon mentioned having thousands of followers): how many followers do you have? How many do you consider "friends"/communicate with regularly?

My main blog (multifandom) has like 360 followers and I've had it since March or so. I thought that was a pretty decent number, but apparently it's very small. I only really communicate with about... 10? I guess? Of those followers.

I have 536, but to be honest about 75% of them aren't active. I consider about ten percent of the active ones friends.

My tumblr turns one week old today and it has 3 followers. I consider this a resounding success. :P Even if they did all add me within the first two hours, meaning no new ones since then. XD

I think around 16. I communicate with maybe half. But I'm not a regular tumblrite, mostly I'm just there to look at the funny/pretty gifs.

360 is fucking huge to me. I can't imagine that being considered small for a regular multifandom blog. I mean, do you make your own art or post your own fic and the like? How many is considered not small?

19! One is my partner, two or three are friends from elsewhere, and one is a coworker. Everyone else is mostly from the Free! fandom.

I don't really communicate so much with any of them, though. A little bit, here and there, but mostly I just babble on about fandom shit and reblog stuff. I'm pretty much happy if I get even 1 note on something, especially when it's not fandom-related /shrug

I currently follow 110 and have 128 following me. I think 9 or 10 are close friends, then a couple of those are um, medium level friends, and a whole bunch of them are people from cons who I have been talking with a little bit and would like to get to know more.

I've had mine for like 2 years and I only reached 100 back in May so...idk how 'good' that is for either of us but there you go

Main blog: 109, only about 40-50 are friends/people I know outside tumblr/people I actually talk to, haha.

fandom blog: 457 and I talk to very few people otherwise, like maybe under 10. :|

I have 74 people that follow me and I don't know any of them bar sharing some fandom interests so I don't really chat with them(I'm also quite shy so I just lurk quietly), a couple were mutual-follows that I did back when I first got my tumblr and thought that was the done thing like on Lj/Dw but we have some shared fandoms so I still follow them.

Over 5,000 followers and maybe about 10 of them are my friends? I always respond to notes but conversations usually don't go on long. I don't do conversational reblogs though because it's an art only blog that I like to keep on topic.

I have 245 now, but it's a hot mess combo of all my interests, so I don't attract a lot of followers because they would have to deal with 70% other stuff I figure they wouldn't like. In fact, I try to keep it more towards lolita because a lot of them came from /cgl/ threads I post in, but I'll still post soccer and stuff.

I also have a small percentage I consider friends (whether I know them from real life or we talk on tumblr)

Don't feel bad about only having 360 followers. I only have 52. Strangely enough, I communicate more with people who don't follow me.

I'm always amazed that people have rl friends that they share fandom spaces with.

I have a few tumblr followers that are f!s people and then a few other people that randomly followed me. I think it's 18 people now.

I follow 53 people and am followed by 12 people. I talk with about 9 people, 8 of whom are followers of mine.

My blog is a mixed bag of things I like so I can understand people not wanting to follow me. You may get cute animals, then a funny gif, then maybe some Night Vale or Pokemon, then maybe some beautiful photography shots. My music is just whatever appears on my dash that is funny or I like. I'm all over. But then, my blog is for me so I understand having a small follower count.

My 3 year old personal has about 170ish followers last checked

My 4 month old fandom RP blog has 192

I'm really not fussed though, it's a ncie break from my DA which has some 2k followers last checked x_x so many people watching you, it's nice being just another face

Heh, I just realized I have exactly 300 followers. I could only name maybe half a dozen of them (by URL) without looking though, and I pretty much only talk to them if they talk to me first. I talk more to the people *I* follow.
