It wasn't that great of a film, tbh. I found the lead to be the equivalent of a cold bowl of oatmeal and I had no emotional investment in him whatsoever.

That said, the supporting cast of characters were excellent and Idris Elda acted well enough to keep everyone else afloat.

Still, it needed more Mako, Newt, and Russian pilots.

YES. I took one look at the Kaidanovskys and it was love at first sight.

One thing I am very grateful for in the PR fandom is how much fanart and fic and headcanons there are for them. Like, finally, a ship fandom has embraced so fervently that I actually agree with.

My husband and I are planning on cosplaying as the Kaidanovskys for PAX East next year. I've got to get a good look at the backs of their coats. I know they've got something on them and it's shiny and I need to get a better look. They're just only ever shown from behind once and they're in motion.

My love for them knows no bounds.

I truly hope you get a good look at the backs of their coats because you and your husband's plans to cosplay as the Kaidanovskys is incredible and has to happen.
