(Anonymous) 2013-08-06 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)Not the anon you're replying to, and I don't really follow the fandom so I don't know if this has been explored or not, but the only "plot hole" (it's an inconsistency more than a plot hole, but people use the term as a catch-all) that actually bothered me was that since Mako already knew about Stacker's illness, then Raleigh should have too because he drifted with her, but it came as a huge surprise to him.
Then again, I'm dying to know how Stacker "brings nothing to the drift", so maybe that's part of it? Maybe Mako, too, was able to restrict parts of herself and her memories in the drift. I DON'T REALLY KNOW. But that's really the only thing that got to me.

But that's counterproductive, since strong memories can in fact mess with your perceptions. So you keep clear. Focused on what's in front of you (usually this means punching monsters).
Memories are shared, but it's more like a watching a friends browser surfing rather then going through his bookmarks and history, dig?
