Best part: I can afford basic health coverage without a job offering benefits. It's mostly for emergencies and prescriptions, so if I need new glasses or my teeth hurt I'm screwed, but it's fully covering an upcoming MRI. (Damn commies with their socialist medicine and taking care of their residents' health and wellness!)

People are generally nicer, in this city. Buuuut good luck affording a place to live above ground.

I'd totally go back to live at home; I have no qualms. I like my parents (most days :P), and love my home town and my friends there. Since I'm trying to get into a specific degree program where I am, I'd rather network here.
