It bums me out that Pacific Rim turned out to have another aggressively defensive fandom that turns scary, rabid, or SJW (but it's so subversive and progressive and you are stupid if you don't see it!) once there's criticism or "I do not get this" lobbed at it. It's okay, calm down, not everyone is going to mindlessly worship the things you do.
