(Anonymous) 2013-08-11 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)Long Vacation has always been a classic, I recommend it to most people I know. I also enjoyed Tiger and Dragon, Stand Up!!, Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Maou, Akumu Chan, and for real quirkiness: Keizoku and Keizoku 2: SPEC.

(Anonymous) 2013-08-12 03:41 am (UTC)(link)I've seen a lot of manga adaptations - PGSM, Lovely Complex, Absolute Boyfriend (I haven't finished it) and I believe it was HanaKimi and Honey Clover, both which I need to finish.
I also enjoyed Best Friends (I believe that's the title?), Hotaru no Hikari (and its sequel) and I like dramas that are slice of life, cute and funny but I haven't had time to watch any lately. I'm always on the look out for more. =)
