(Anonymous) 2013-08-12 07:04 am (UTC)(link)A grouse is a type of bird that you're not going to find in Australia XD;; Actually, it's not native to anywhere south of parts of Texas/Louisiana.
It's kind of like a chicken, which it's related too. So...uh...I guess, think 'chicken that you only find in the Northern hemisphere'? If you're interested in silly looking birds, some of the males look *ridiculous*.
