Hiding objects on your person
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 12:00 am (UTC)(link)Our 'sister class' are the police officers and have to carry out an effective search, keep control etc.
Now because of some complicated inter-team dynamics things have gotten competitive, and we're aiming to be as successful as possible. We just want to absolutely crush these guys.
So I'm looking for input on ideal ways to hide items, and be as obstructive as possible. Last time we did this with a different class we were pretty effective, items in sleeves, multiple shirts, hiding handcuff keys in between fingers and under plasters, filming them on mobiles to throw them off etc, but I want to up our game.
Obviously only practicable suggestions to what your average person has in their house/wardrobe.

Re: Hiding objects on your person
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 12:10 am (UTC)(link)Depending on circumstances/how dedicated you are you can hide things in the lining of your clothes [or better, the sems since the stitches won't be as obvious], or depending on the type of hat you have, sometimes they have a flap/sem-ish type of bit of fabric that sticks up if you think they won't be likely to mess with it, or you think it wouldn't be likely to fall out.
Re: Hiding objects on your person
Because I know people who have gotten out of half their searches because the men didn't want to go too far on the woman's person. You could use that to your advantage. Heck, it even works with bags. My brother's x-girlfriend snuck food into a place you weren't supposed to have it because they wanted you to buy from their expensive vendors. She just put a bunch of pads and tampons over them and the dude searching her bag opened it, went "nope", and closed it again.
Wear two pairs of underwear. Put stuff inbetween. (I'm thinking tight-fitting but having a third pair of loose fitting would be a nice cover.)
Uuuuuhhhh. Put some obvious stuff on your person so when they find those they think they've got it all and they won't look further.
I'm not really good at this but best of luck to you.
Re: Hiding objects on your person
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 12:33 am (UTC)(link)Search needs to remain the right side of not requiring a strip search. Between the trousers and underwear around the belt would be okay, even over the groin, but tucked into a second pair of underwear would realistically be toeing the line.
Solid idea though.
Re: Hiding objects on your person
Welp, if they don't make you take off your belt you can hide stuff inbetween it and your pants depending on how big the item is. But it seems you've thought of that. People tend to not check me around my neck much either so I can always hide something in my hair. I'm unsure of your hair length though.
Sorry I'm not more helpful. Again, best of luck.

Ahahahaha.
To Clarify
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 12:27 am (UTC)(link)I won't have the time to modify or alter anything substantial.
Currently intend to wear large military style jacket (pull out some proper epaulets and I could probably hide a baggie under there at a push?), military shirt, covert stab vest with the stab plates pulled out so I can put things in there, another shirt (between the sleeves of the two shirts around the wrist was the most effective place last time - easy for them to miss once you're in cuffs), large tie, patrol trousers, boots, thick belt, fingerless gloves, hat, and sunglasses.
Not exactly the fashion statement of the century, but completely saturates me with pockets and little hiding places.

(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 12:53 am (UTC)(link)You could also wear double socks and wrap the money rolls around your ankles between the layers, maybe?
Re: Hiding objects on your person
(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 03:02 am (UTC)(link)Or take a page from Harry Houdini's book. Not only would he hide lockpicks in his hair, but as he was being searched he'd move them around on his body via sleight of hand to places that had already been searched. Or even hide it temporarily on the policeman's person (a bit of tacky blue stuff or double-sided tape might work for this) before retrieving it just as the search was winding down.
Good luck! :)
