How dare you. Atlantis was magical as fuck, and remains a grossly underrated movie.

But yeah, PatF sucked. Why? Because it was about a black character, so they didn't even try, the same way Tangled sucked because they made little effort because they assumed boys not liking princesses gave the go ahead to give no fucks.

I don't get why Disney does all those stupid Adjective Movies since Princess and the Frog like "Tangled", "Brave" and now "Frozen" and claims it's because boys don't watch a movie that refers to a female character. WTF? Did boys become more sexist since the 90s? Because I remember The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas to be huge hits with kids of all genders.
Fuck them and their Adjective Movies. They should start concentrating more on quality again.

that might just be the trend right now, I think a lot of books have those kind of titles. people like short and evocative.

na

I recall reading about a Disney executive explicitly stating that they started using those titles because Princess an the Frog didn't do as well as they thought, so they concluded it must have been because the title had "princess" in it and that little boys wouldn't want to go see a movie that referred to a female.

People really raged about it a few years ago.
