It's never nice when you get a sudden reminder that they're gone like that(my four months after reminder was oddly not during Aristocats itself but the mini cartoon afterwards that showed Minnie lovingly doting on her kitty, I just broke down into tears it was so weird), I hope you feel better tomorrow.

PMS is hitting for me today too so soon I shall be curling up in bed to watch something I like.

Mine was pulling out an old favorite book some time after my favorite cat died and remembering that she was the one who left those tooth marks on the cover.

yes, my reminder was just an older LJ post saying "cat did not look too well when I arrived here [I was visiting my family where she lived], but she's better now and I think if she survives until the weather is better, then she will survive summer" :\

I have done that with rabbits, even years later I'm pulling out an old t-shirt and remembering who chewed the hem. :/ Also, cleaning their litterbox *for the last time* is always horrible. You wouldn't think I'd get teary-eyed over throwing poop in the trash, but... it's like removing the last evidence they were ever there.
