death threats, "fuck off and die", "die in a fire", wishes to see the opponent hurt in various ways

they are all awful and it embarrasses me when people who are saying something I agree with let themselves fall to that level because it makes my own positions/side/whatever look incredibly immature

I'd rather people not use them in general, though, whether I agree with them or not

I love 'em. Hyperbole for the win.

On the other hand, crap like "I hope he steps barefoot on Legos" strike me as hopelessly twee or ... I don't know the word I need here. It's like those women who hang around in church groups who say shit like, "He's so confused, bless his heart" and you can hear in every word that what they really mean is "He's a shit-born cockhead for disagreeing with me, he's going to go straight to hell when he dies and I'm just going to be sitting on my cloud polishing my halo and GLOATING."

"God, I hope he takes a fucking rake to the face" just feels more honest than "step on legos."

I get freakishly horny on my period. So much so that I'm masturbating like hell for the first three days, taking advantage of the extra sensitivity down there.

Then I feel guilty when people talk about how they have medical conditions and their periods hurt them a lot... all while I'm over here anticipating my next cycle.
