You see it's hard because on one hand, the way Eska treats Bolin is bad and I'm pretty sure the show knows that, but on the other hand this fandom is one of the most hysterical baby butthurt fandoms ever so I can see why you're annoyed. If I were in middle school I'd use the phrase "pee-pee hearted" but I'm not so I'll only imply it.

I guess when he first saw the twins, he commented on how hot they were. Korra casually explains one of the twins is a guy, and Bolin sort of stammers a little bit and says, "I knew that!" or something. It's not really homophobic at all.

If you see a guy in drag you think is hot, and you think they're hot because you mistake them for opposite sex, and then are instantly turned off as soon as you realize they are the same sex, BECAUSE they are the same sex, that is not bisexuality.

I think it definitely is abuse, but the show is playing it for laughs. Also I think the OP is trolling. Also, I think the twins are sharing Bolin but it's nick so they're never gonna go there but come on.

As for Eska, teenagers being shitty and immature is kind of a recurring theme in this show. If people freak out every time it happens I don't know why they're even watching...
