A thought: the ponies have no secondary sexual characteristics, they act in a fairly immature manner, there are no indications that suggest they are adults, and yet manchild bronies constantly sexualize them.

Maybe reaching here, but it kinda fits don't it? Certainly fits the psychological profile of the average bronie.

Twilight and Fluttershy live alone too (well, except for Spike living with Twilight). Not sure about the others, though I know Applejack lives with her family.

Pinkie Pie lives with the Cakes, where she also works, and not with her family.
Applejack lives with her older brother, younger sister, and grandma. She and Big Mac are pretty much the adults of the house.

Thank you. I mean I don't agree, their roles in their society do not make them adults, the fact that they act like very young teens compared to the younger one's is much more significant.

The "cutie mark" thing is valid, sort of, if you ignore the fact that humans undergoing puberty does not mean "Please sexualize me".

First off, your definition of bronies appears to be skewed towards "proving" your point. It's not the generally accepted definition, and as such you should say "men who sexualize these characters," since that appears to be what you're actually wanting to talk about.

I also think your definition of "mature" needs to be looked at. By all accounts they are considered to be fully grown, capable of making all of their own decisions about their lives, and almost completely self sufficient. I know 30 year olds who are less mature, and you certainly wouldn't call people attracted to them pedophiles. Because it's not mental maturity, it's physical that counts.

Frankly, they've always acted like people I remember from college to me. That period where your immature self first meets the responsibility that comes with being an adult and knowing that your safety nets were, if not gone, then at least fraying a little bit.

actually I've known people who used the nickname "brony" but avoided most sexual stuff with a ten foot pole and wanted nothing to do with it.

My personal thinking is that it's not bestiality if they are of human intelligence and able to communicate. E.G. would you consider having sex with Beast from X-men bestiality?

Beast is humanoid so it falls in a gray area for me. The ponies are full on animal, so yeah it's beastiality. Or xeno or something. You would be having sex with a non-human animal body. Not saying it's right or wrong - there's definitely different moral implications with intelligent animals that are able to consent, but I still see it as beastiality.
