20. Oh my god fandomsecrets never needs to discuss domestic abuse again.

Do you all understand that the likelihood of fatality quadruples when the victim flees? Beyond any emotional attachments and issues, it's far more difficult than anyone who hasn't been through it or worked with it can imagine. The fear is gripping, and people like you don't fucking help.

3. Eh... not really. Fictional characters are fiction, and it's not like you crushed them because of the pedo. I STILL have a thing for Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, he's 15 in canon- I'm 25. It's just not my fault they don't age with me, otherwise he'd be 23. :p

5. IAGWTS. Having flaws /= evil. Less than pure thoughts/intentions /= evil, either. Portraying DD as an evil character is bad writing, unless you're doing AU... imo, of course.

20. I've been where you are. "Leave" is the first thing EVERYONE says... but very often it's really not that easy. Most people believe that there are clear-cut lines where relationships should be terminated. Problem is that this perspective looks only at one factor: Abuse. That's it. Relationships are MUCH more than a single factor, and so are circumstances.

Keep your eyes peeled for that out... it WILL come. In the meantime, do whatever helps you survive.

I don't think I could have worded it better myself and I agree wholeheartedly.

I love video games, anime, and manga. I have absolutely no interest in Japan more so than any other country and it aggravates me when people automatically assume I have some sort of fascination with Japan for whatever reason.

It annoys me even more when people believe they are obsessed with Japan and yet know absolutely nothing about it except for assumptions made via anime, video games, and manga, and what they've learned of the language via online translator programs and tips written by other clueless people.

If you're going to be obsessed with a culture, PLEASE let it be the actual culture that exists, not the magical, fictional world a lot of people have created inside their heads.

I can't say I've been there, but I can say I'm mildly disgusted at FS for thinking they do know the situation. It's never that easy.

Keep holding on. You'll make it somehow. Especially if you're in your teens... things always get better once you're older and on your own. My father wasn't abusive, but he had a way of saying cruel, hurtful things, and it's surprising how much just living on my own has made me happier.

5. IAWTS. Seriously. He's NOT EVIL. And NO WAY is he worse than Voldemort. VOLDEMORT KILLS PEOPLE. FOR FUN. Dumbledore couldn't even kill Grindelwald, and the man caused his sister to die(I know he was in love with him and stuff, but that still shows how good he is)! I mean, sure, he was swayed by GW, and the Hallows and things, but who WOULDN'T be!? I mean, they allow you to see dead loved ones or be invincible! It's practically impossible to NOT want the Hallows! He isn't perfect, but that doesn't mean he was evil. Jeez.

Sorry for the TL;DR, but Evil!Dumbledore makes me really pissed off. Its like they're insulting his memory or something.

14 - You need not a reason. She's Haruhi. 'nuff said. (And as for the others, I don't know).

18 - Extreme Ghostbusters! I loved that show! I loved how there was a girl Ghostbuster... Kylie rocked my socks! And Eduardo was funny, the slacker he was. And Garrett was inspirational. Don't honestly remember much of Roland though (had to look up his name in the first place).
