I don't think there's much wrong with this. Games are expensive, and they take a ton of time. For example, I don't have a PS3 and my sister really wanted to know the story for The Last of Us. Instead of spending tons of money for one game (since we're both primarily steam gamers) she decided to watch a Let's Play instead.

Honestly, I'm sick of people telling people "you have to experience media one way only." If all you care about is a story, who cares if you watch a let's play? Gameplay essentially slows things down, and actively prevents you from learning more about the story.

Also I'm sick of the attitude about women. Not all women just like Let's Plays, and they're not the only audience for Let's Plays either.
