Someone gave me a video game once. I spent a couple of hours wandering around the corridor at the beginning of the game, randomly hitting buttons and hoping the character would interact with the environment. I read the manual from cover to cover hoping to figure out how to work the thing, but it was no help.

Then I gave up, threw the game away, and never bothered to pick up a video game again. Wow, was that ever fun! Thank God I didn't ruin it by watching a "Let's Play"!
