I only know what LPs are because my boyfriend likes to watch them (also, he's not a girl, as if that matters). Sometimes I watch them with him, and some of them are enjoyable. I also enjoy watching others play; I once spent several months on the couch with my then roommate, watching her play (and if it matters, she is a girl) and, I did touch the controller once, when she got an urgent need to use the bathroom, but that was the only time I did. I should also point out, I suppose, that she was playing on my PS2, because she could't afford one on her own (and why should she need to, since I had a PS2 and an Xbox, and I didn't mind her using them, in fact I was happy that she did, since I got to watch).
My point is that I can afford a console if I really want to, or the PC (either or though, not both) I can even afford the games after that. Well, some games, anyway. (Not rich in any way, just managed to save enough money that I could spend it on those thing if I wanted to.) The truth is though that I don't, my Xbox 360 is still sitting in an unopened box, and it's not like I ever really used my PS2 or Xbox much either, not even back when I got them. I do play now and then, it's just that I get bored very fast. I don't enjoy gameplay all that much; I do enjoy watching people play, I enjoy the commentaries in LPs too. Sometimes I wish I could get more into games, it sounds and looks like fun when others do it, but then I try and it's not nearly as much fun as I keep thinking it should be, but I can still go on an enjoy the parts that I do like. And I do, despite people like OP.
People enjoy different things for different reasons, and there's nothing wrong with that.
