OP is an asshole troll.

With that said, I get their point that one's point of view will always be different, depending on whether one played the game themselves or not. It's not quite the same but similar to watching a movie from your own culture or from another culture. Your take is going to be affected by your understanding of the culture the film portrays. Or listening to classical music, if you're trained in music, in comparison to to a person who has no musical education. Doesn't mean somebody else's opinion is inherently invalid, it's just different.

The abilities system in an RPG might be so frustrating and illogical to you that it colours your views on the characters you're trying to do your best to play as. Accomplishing an in-game goal is always more satisfying than just watching somebody else do it.

So it's not the same, but that doesn't mean those who watch Lets Plays of games they can't afford are bad people who can't have opinions on characters or stories within games.

Why do you assume that Let's Play fans don't understand what's it like to play a game, or are bad at it? I've beaten hundreds of games over the years, but there are still times when I'd rather just watch a Let's Play.
