You can get past him by pressing F to speed up the game, just make sure not to run into anything because then you will be eaten.

The game is so simple that the "ending" is just a loop. Once you get down the mountain, it simply repeats over as if from the top.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, xxxHOLiC and Kobato all have that style :/ It's on purpose, if you check any of their previous works the proportions are the usual ones for mangas.

When I first played, the yeti scared the crap out of me. But I found the blue ski girl to be more disturbing than he was. I mean, why was she blue? If she had frostbite or was that cold, why was she still skiing (or just sitting there as she did most of the time)?

If you press F, it speeds the game up and you can get past the yeti. Just be cautious not to run into anything, because if you do the yeti will eat you. The end of the game just loops over, like you're starting from the beginning.
