25. The reason why Fay/Chii gets hated upon is because the vocal fans are really like that, only shipping them as an excuse because they're homophobes. Now I'm sure there are sane fans who secretly scream "GET OFF MY SIDE!" all the time but yeah for the most part they're like that. They say things like Fay deserves Chii more so than Hideki because Fay is pretty and Hideki is not; they've made up lies about Hideki claiming he had sex with Chii at the end of Chobits knowing full well that doing so would erase her memory again; and have outright admitted they're homophobic.

As for KuroFay, their fans are hated upon too. One of the worst things in fandom right now is to be a KuroFay fan because you're always grouped with the insane fanbrats who scream for Sakura's death because she ZOMG TOUCHED FAY!, screamed for Ashura-ou's death because he ZOMG TOUCHED FAY!, screamed at Kurogane for defending himself when Fay was attacking himself, and being happy when Syaoran gets hurt.

I miss the old-school CLAMP so much. It seems that the manga have taken the themes of love, wishes, blah blah just way too far. The art is still pretty, but I just miss it when the stories were deeper than TRC or XXXholic. I miss the sense of humor that was so sweet and cute instead of making poor Watanuki do stupid crap.

I really do enjoy going back to read old CLAMP, so I'm right there with you. The stories were just so..ohman. MKR basically formed my thoughts on suicide and death into what they are now, of course after my maturing and all that mixed with it.
