The thing about tv-hot is that people who would be so attractive in an every day context become so bland and indistinguishable on television (I'm thinking everyone on the CW, save perhaps Sam and Dean).

I like that Darren Criss is different looking (and also incredibly hot).

I think Padalecki is the blandnest of bland. Everybody in CW is bland, and if he wasn't so tall, he'd be indistinguishable from the other white dudes.

But maybe that's my limited exposure to white dudes talking.

uh ... he doesn't seem all that squishy 'round the middle.

Then again, I likely have different standards for squish:

But he looks so soft and cuddly. Why would you want to ruin that? His belly looks like the perfect pillow. Mmmm, pillowy cuddles.

Nooooo! I don't even know who this is, but I think he looks attractive as he is. I'm not attracted to muscular guys, and it's always sort of disappointing that all the guys who are supposed to be attractive are usually at least somewhat muscular. There are hardly any really skinny guys around.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-27 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
He's really cute, actually. Not everyone has to have 0.5% body fat.

I dig the bodies of guys who are just generally fit, but are not actual gym rats.

Ugh... all your secret did was remind me how much I love his belly tbh.

I thought they were canceling this show.

I always thought Darren was one of the better looking guys on the cast. This isn't a great picture though, and I don't even mean because of his belly; it's kind of blurry and his facial expression is hilarious. As for the belly... I don't even see much of one. He isn't incredibly buff or toned but not everyone is into that. (Me, I like a bit of everything.)

He still looks good.

Tastes are tastes, but I like him like that. He looks like a regular (incredibly beautiful) guy, not a doll.

Not to say I don't drool over Thor, but Darren is cute as well.

Idk, from that picture he doesn't look flabby at all, and I saw him in concert this summer (my sister is honest to god a HUGE Darren Criss fan so I went with her) and he was looking fine.

There's a difference between not being ripped and "having a belly."

He looks awesome with clothes, I don't mind if he isn't defined.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-27 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
You do remember how Sam's orthorexia and distorted body image are confirmed as bad things, right? Of course Blaine's not going to be as ripped as he is.

I agree, that is shallow. But you're entitled to your opinion, and your tastes aren't mine. However, I feel the need to point out that not being ripped does equate with having a "belly," or other apparent indicators of not working out.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-27 03:39 am (UTC)(link)

I´ve seen a lot of criticism because he isn´t as toned as the other guys (even Chris´ been working out), and yes, the photo doesn´t show it well, but sometimes he has a bit of a belly, so it´s nice to see people here appreciate Darren´s small and cuddly body.

Totally off topic, but he kind of looks like Simon Tam/Sean Maher in that picture. That's who I thought it was until I read the secret.

But I love his tummy. It's precious. :3

(Anonymous) 2013-11-27 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
You don't have to be attracted to him.

I think it's weird when people dictate to others what they have to do to be attractive to them rather than just accept that they're not.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-27 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
It would be rude of me to say "On behalf of actual real-life men, go screw yourself", even though I'm tempted. Because no, honestly, you're allowed to like what you like. You can have whatever weird body image standards you want, and that's your own business. Fair enough.

You have, however, given up your right to complain about guys who talk about how Jennifer Lawrence is a fat cow, or whatever shit they're saying this week. Because you are them.

PSA: abs aren't just a matter of exercise, well-defined six-packs show up with dieting - specifically, "no-carbs-ever, protein-only" diets.

My boyfriend tried - once. I forbid him from dieting like that again because going without carbs makes him impossible to be around.

Those sure are some cute nipples!
