It would be rude of me to say "On behalf of actual real-life men, go screw yourself", even though I'm tempted. Because no, honestly, you're allowed to like what you like. You can have whatever weird body image standards you want, and that's your own business. Fair enough.

You have, however, given up your right to complain about guys who talk about how Jennifer Lawrence is a fat cow, or whatever shit they're saying this week. Because you are them.

In what way is it not the same thing? Complaining about some celebrity not having 0% bodyfat... that's actually EXACTLY the same thing.

I agree with other anon. It's a complete double standard if people are against criticism of female celebrities but entirely willing to judge a male celebrity on his looks.

Yes, by and large there is more attention paid to how female celebrities look but the way to counteract that is not to go and criticise men instead.
