If his clothes indicated he was Sami, tumblr still wouldn't have been happy until he stopped the movie to go on a monologue on all the injustices he's had to endure. But it'd have to be extremely accurate or tumblr sjw would STILL be pissed. AND THEN even if it's the most genuine account of oppression, if Anna doesn't crawl under a snow mound and feels terrible about her new-found white guilt they still wouldn't be happy.

The worrying part is that's not even an exaggeration. I've seen those exact sorts of arguments used against Macklemore for that Same Love song. 'he didn't accurately explain all the nuances of queer culture and oppression in a 4 minute song and he doesn't give every cent he earns to queer rights organisations so he's basically the worst person in the world'
