Yeah, I just hate his utterly obnoxious design. The nonhuman sidekicks in Disney's past were all exaggerated, but they they weren't outright lopsided. It makes him stand out in the film like a broken thumb pointing in the wrong direction. I'm kind of an animation snob that way and have been since I was a little tyke, please god you spend all that money and effort you refuse to make this character fucking symmetrical, ugh.

This is why I hated the dog in Mulan. Fortunately he got, like, three minutes of screentime, so.

Mulan had a dog...? I've seen that movie like a million times and I don't remember... *googles* Holy shit, I see why I keep choosing to forget him.

-SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE-

Olaf is based on a snowman the sisters made when they were little girls. He's supposed to be lopsided.

This doesn't make him any less jarring to look at compared to the rest of the film.

In-story reasons for his design are great, but that still doesn't change the fact that I have to look at him for any amount of time.
