Re: Things you can't enjoy anymore because they're problematic

Do childhood things that handled social issues count? Because I loved The Baby-Sitter's Club as a kid, but when I remember how Ann M Martin dealt with certain things, such as disabilities and racism... it kind of dampens the prospect of handing them down to kids in my family. :/ And I feel like that's true for a lot of childhood/teenage favorites, because they do seem to handle the tough stuff really terribly.
