I never liked the 'comedy', 'wacky', 'sidekick' characters, even as a child. Meeko, Mushu, Abu, Timone, Pumba, Sebastian, those stupid gargoyles in Hunchback... Ugh, hate them all, always have. It's only getting more ridiculous as time goes on, too. I grew up on Disney and I've always loved it, except for those unbearable comedic characters. I will continue to complain about them because I never liked them; even as a child they made me feel as if I was being condescended to and ruined the dramatic tension of the films. Immune to criticism my ass, I dislike all of the comedic relief characters that have come before this stupid snowman (and I hate the snowman too). The films would all be far better without them in my opinion.
