Zero Punctuation got me back into games after a 3 year drought. I love that man more than is healthy.

And, provided I do well on my SAT, I am rewarding myself with Psychonauts. I hope and pray he wasn't just building it up. :D

He totally wasn't. Though be warned, he is also not exaggerating about the difficulty curve: the very end of the game is murder on wheels. (Plus there's a level whose visual design gave me a terrible headache, but the story in it was awesome, so I could forgive it that.)

However, it's absolutely charming, and a hell of a lot of fun.

I don't really like Naruto either. I gave it a chance, I watched it and grew extremely bored with it. I just can't stand anime that drags on and on with filler and every fanboy walks around yelling "Believe it!"/"Dattebayo!" Ugh.

Then again, I obsess over Sailor Moon, and that was Naruto for girls in its day. Heh.

9 - I don't know who Lucy is, however I must say that nothing is sacred when it comes to fandom. And bringing attention to this secret might just be all the inspiration someone out there needs to do exactly what you don't want to happen. (I agree with you that certain things should NEVER be touched upon in fandom, but it happens so I just try to stick as far away from it as possible).

*raises hand* Actually, I think there's some sort of psychological disorder where that can happen. I can't remember what it's called, but it's where a victim will form an attachment to the person who wronged them (Kidnapper, rapist, etc.)

It just might not exactly happen in quite the way that fanfics portray it. xD;

I can understand the problems you have with it but . . . Stockholm Syndrome and fiction arguments aside, since when does it only happen in yaoi? I mean, really, out of all of the manga I've read where sex is involved, the overwhelming majority of it is in the het manga. You're actually less likely to find a het manga with explicit sex in it that doesn't involve rape in some way with the girl ending up OMGLOVINGIT.
