Yeah, I'm in the 'maybe' camp to. I'd probably want to adopt an older child anyway because I'm not a big fan of babies.

I don't understand why people hate on people for saying that they don't want to have children because of whatever. Having kids doesn't magically make you a more responsible or enriched person. Having a child just to fill up some bullshit checklist of 'life goals' that everyone supposedly needs to complete is one of the most selfish things you could ever do.

I love kids, and babies, I just don't know if I'd be very good at that type of commitment. I think I'm better as the nanny or aunt. I mean I like the idea of having a kid that's my own to mold, but realistically idk. If I'm ever in the position and had a partner I'd really like to try fostering.

Yeah, I don't get that type of mindset. I don't really get hate on people for having different life goals or wtv anyway. I guess I've been lucky that my family doesn't really pressure about that type of stuff. They'd be delighted to have more grandkids/nephews/nieces, but it's not like they're pushing for them or anything.
