Re: So, should Santa be black?

Santa is all shapes, sizes, creeds, and colors all at the same time. There's only one Santa who is simultaneously Asian, and black, and white, and gay, and disabled, and Irish. That's my Santa theory. Of course in my heart of hearts I believe he's actually Irish, but still.

(Also, in passing, not really relevant b/c no one's actually criticized her but I just wanted to say that I really like and respect Megyn Kelly, she's one of the few people connected with Fox who I do respect, Shep Smith being the other one who comes to mind, and even if I disagree with her she seems intelligent and reasonable. And I think the comment she was making was pretty clearly a joke about Santa being real, and nothing more).

"Of course in my heart of hearts I believe he's actually Irish, but still."

...I might actually be able to get behind this, if the Santa in question was Dylan Moran.

OH COME ON A BLACK BOOKS XMAS WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE

...I'll show myself out.

Man.

That needs to happen. That would be so awesome. Please someone make a Christmas movie starring Dylan Moran. It doesn't need to be Black Books, just have it be all Dylan Moran-y.

No, Santa, is Turkish. It's God who is Irish. That's why when people are dire straits, they use his real name when they pray. "O'God." As in, "O'God, hear my prayer."
