I'm half-way through Free Souls, the third book in Susan Kaye Quinn's Mindjack trilogy, and really enjoying it. It's set in a future where almost everyone can read minds, and those who can't are social outcasts called "zeros." Kira thinks she's the queen zero, but soon finds that she is actually a mindjacker (yeah, I giggled at that term, too) who can control other people's thoughts and behaviors at whim. And everything goes to shit for her from there. She's kind of a stupid protagonist, but in an endearing sort of way, and there's lots of action, suspense, high stakes and cool world-building. The first book, Open Minds, can be found for free on the author's website: http://www.mindjacktrilogy.com/
