Though you may have a point here:
but that he spreads joy to everyone in the world and it's nice when your role model looks like you or... at least when it's a possibility and there aren't white people on the news telling you that there's no way he can look like you, ever.
so it would be good if there were more diverse Santas in movies and other fictional/arty stuff. But it's not like anyone absolutely ought to do that, or that anyone's individual unwillingness to portray Santa as something other than a white man indicates the presence of racism. I think it only applies to the original characters - the unwillingness to introduce any non-white non-male characters may be an indicator of some kind of prejudice. But interpreting the already existings ones? Hell no.
