Re: Have you ever recieved a bad review?

I got one recently that was...really hard to figure out if it was a bad review or not? Like it had some specific canon-based comments which could be read as "this characterization makes no sense because X!" but stopped short of actually saying that (which I would've understood and respected, if disagreed with), and the rest of the review was pretty friendly. So I responded to it in a very "hahah, yeah, agree to disagree" kind of way and thanked them for the comment anyway.

Back in my early days I got a couple of "But character X ISN'T GAY" types of comments and tried to be like "Well no. Not canonically. But..." and had some surprisingly low-key conversations about that so idk, for all my fear of confrontation/wank regarding reviews I've never actually had to deal with any.
