So I now have all my holiday shopping done AND my gifts wrapped. This is the earliest I have ever been ready for Christmas so I feel pretty good about that.

How is everyone else doing during this holiday shopping season?

I'm about halfway done. I have half of the gifts bought and I know what I'm going to get for all but two people. Which is going to be a challenge.

Hopefully you figure out what to get those last two. :(

I'm stumped on an 8-year-old girl who likes recess and taking pictures with people's phones. I thought about getting her a cheapo digital camera (there's a Disney Princess switchable faceplate camera for $40...SOMEWHERE, if I can find it), but even if I find one that's the same price or close to her 9-year-old sister's Hello Kitty Chia Pet...I can't help but feel like it would look bad to be like "You get a camera! You get this pottery head in a box that will be something in a few weeks."

The camera just seems intrinsically better to me, and I can't decide if that's really true or if that's just the way I feel because I'D feel cheated by a Chia Pet. (Older Sis' favorite classes are Art and Rain Forest Lab, and I've gotten her something arty with every gift-giving occassion and wanted to get her something growy instead.)

I went out shopping yesterday and got stuff for most of my family. I still want to get something else for my Dad, but I think I'll just get that online and if it doesn't come on time then he won't mind. I will probably go the gift bag route because I'm god awful at wrapping presents.

Yeah, I had my sister and mom help me wrap. And am terrible at wrapping.

Haven't started.

I've bought one present. I have no idea to get for anyone and I am close to panicking, which I will be doing on Tuesday when I plan on buying them if I can't find anything.

Did I mention that my girlfriend is one of those I have no idea what to get? Because she is! And that is just scary, and all she says when I ask is that she wants candy...

I haven't done any shopping. I am just not feeling Christmas this year at all. I don't want anything (except health, which is not happening), and I'm angry at half the people I'd normally buy presents for because they've been frustrating all year and have gotten more so recently.

I wish I could just say "Look, I'm not giving or receiving anything this year, and that's that - no Christmas for me" and have people accept that.

Terrible (I'm usually finished shopping by now), but due to unforeseen circumstances I haven't had the time to shop, and so the only gift that's taken care of is one I bought months ago. (Already sent it off, thankfully.)

So I'm either shopping next week, or everyone is getting late presents this year.

I got my sister a Star Trek mug and that drinking bird thing for a white elephant gift exchange I'm doing. Once they come in the mail and I wrap them I'll be pretty much done.

I'm almost done with my shopping...I just need to pick up one more package of socks for the hubby and some chocolates for Grandma, and finish installing software on the kiddo's new PC. We got the tree and decorations up yesterday. Wrapping still needs done, but this year I cheated and picked up a whole bunch of new gift bags. Might still get one new roll of paper for the big gifts though.

There's also still the husband's super awesome homemade caramel and my peppermint bark to be made too.

T~T I haven't even started. I'm behind some bills that have rolled over from last month and I've been waiting to get my end of the year bonus to smooth everything out but my workplace keeps pushing back the date of when we'll be receiving our bonuses. T~T

Our family's doing a secret santa-type thing, so that was easy! (I was buying for my grandmother.) Got her present, just need to wrap it. For my Mum, I'm doing homemade chai tea, so I have to find an hour or so to prepare that, and for my friends, already bought and mailed off!
