Because no one is required to explain to anyone WHY they find someone attractive. Attraction is neither objective nor rational. It's deeply personal and individual.

You do not have to find attractive who others do and they do not have to find attractive who you do and asking a question like this secret does is just completely pointless at best and judgmental at worst.

I think OP just doesn't realise how many people are into the unearthly and inhuman thing, which deserves more of a "are you new?" than anything.

Nah, I said I think Lee Pace is unattractive IMO, not his elf, and I'm def not judging anyone for finding someone attractive that I don't. I mean, who cares.

In this case I'm judging the casting of these movies for having decided that apparently almost all elves must be BLOND and with CLEAR EYES but the actors behind them are super DARK. I don't see why we can't have simply the natural coloring of the actors.

In fact, tbh, what bothers me more than anything is the use of those idiotic lenses. They make everyone look weird and not in a good way, because there is still not a way to change eye coloring without making it seems plastic-y. So yeah, to me it's a matter of realistic looks over otherworldly unnaturally achieved looks.
